Case study on the project “Fair Sex”
The working paper of Justina Donielaite is a case study describing the project “Fair Sex”, which was based in upper secondary schools on the Aaland Islands and launched in autumn of 2011. The project “Fair Sex” aimed at preventing gender based and sexual violence, promoted positive sexual experiences and advanced gender equality. The main idea of project was the communication of consent as a precondition for positive sexual experiences and social aspects of sex, which are usually missing in school curriculum. The “Fair sex method” consisted of workshops for pupils and education staff.
